What is Restylane?
Restylane is an FDA-approved dermal filler made of a hyaluronic acid (NASHA) that is biodegradable and non-animal stabilized. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance present in all living organisms, supplying the body with density and completeness. Restylane is a hyaluronic acid gel produced by bacteria species Streptococcus. It is created by natural fermentation in a sterile biotech laboratory.
Restylane is developed as a clear gel using a dual action system to correct mild to extreme wrinkles and folds. After being inserted under the surface of the skin, the Restylane gel absorbs into the dermal tissue, then attracts and attaches to water molecules to help retain density. For mid-to-deep dermal implantation, restylane is indicated to correct mild to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds.

What Are The Benefits Of Restylane?
Restylane is slowly depleted and disappears without any trace by the body’s own process. Effects can be seen for up to six months directly following treatment with Restylane. Depending on the site of the injection, some patients can achieve results that last longer than six months.
Unlike other derivatives of hyaluronic acid, NASHA is not derived from animal sources. It is produced biotechnologically in a sterile laboratory environment by natural fermentation. This significantly reduces the risk of disease transmission between species or allergic reactions in patients sensitive to common foods.
Unlike Restylane, you can also use Restylane-L to add volume and fullness to your skin to correct mild to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth (nasolabial folds). Restylane-L, however, can help reduce pain during and after treatment by combining lidocaine with Restylane.
When we get older, our skin loses elasticity. The lines running from the sides of the nose to the corners of the mouth and the lines running from the corners of your mouth to the chin get thicker. Restylane Defyne is designed to fix these deepened lines.
Restylane injections aren’t permanent fillers, so you’ll need more rounds of injections if you want to maintain results. The fillers last anywhere between 6 and 18 months, depending on the type of Restylane you got. After you’re completely healed, you don’t have to adjust your habits in any way.
Efficacy. The results of Restylane and Juvederm are seen rapidly and last for several months, but with slight variations. Restylane takes a couple of days to work and lasts about 10 months. Juvederm lasts a year or so.
Restylane temporarily removes signs of aging on your face by smoothing the wrinkles and folds around your nose and reaching down to your mouth’s corners (laugh lines). It should last up to 12 months for this perfect, smooth look.
