How to prepare, and what follows
The laser needs to be able to identify your hair follicles, so a little preparation
makes a real difference to your results.

Before your session
Avoid waxing and tweezing for six weeks before any laser hair
reduction — the laser needs an intact follicle to target. We encourage you
to shave the treatment area the day before, to maximize your results.

During treatment
Each laser pulse takes a fraction of a second and treats many hairs at once,
covering an area about the size of a quarter per second. Small areas such as the
upper lip take around a minute; larger areas like the back or
legs can take up to an hour.

Afterwards
You may return to your normal activities right away. Use sunscreen on any
treated area that will be exposed to the sun — though limiting sun exposure
altogether is best.

How permanent is laser hair removal?
While laser hair removal doesn’t get rid of hair permanently, it does
reduce hair growth dramatically. Electrolysis is the only FDA-approved procedure
for permanent hair removal.
How effective is laser hair removal?
You can have it done anywhere on the body, and the machine covers large areas
relatively fast — there are no real limits to where it can be used. One
thing to take into consideration is that laser hair removal isn’t very
effective on blonde or gray hair.
How much does laser hair removal cost?
The average cost is around $235 per treatment. The price varies widely depending
on the size of the area being treated, the time involved and the number of
treatments needed.
Does hair grow back after laser removal?
No hair removal method can guarantee that re-growth is permanently stopped.
Laser hair removal is, however, the most effective way to reduce re-growth
— by around 20% each session.
How painful is laser hair removal?
Laser hair removal does not hurt as much as waxing. You will feel heat, as if a
